System Restore will not retrieve deleted files, it will restore the Windows
system to the previous state, wiping out any changes such as installing a
progam or driver.
When you delete a file it is moved to the Recycle Bin. If you have not
emptied the Recycle Bin you can restore it by opening the bin,
right-clicking the file and clicking Restore
System restore does not bring back deleted personal files. It only restores
the system/windows files and settings back to a day when they were working
correctly. Thus the name System Restore and not personal files restore.
Personal files such as pictures, music, documents, etc... do not get
restored.
