Got a new one for me records, but who's counting ... :D


Green-winged Teal





The one in the background is the American Green-winged Teal ... with a nice display for us all ... our more common version is the one in the forground, called a Teal. It is quite easy to miss out on a lot of birds. :D

The 'Lady' is in the middle, just for the record. ;)

I also took a video, nearly 46Mb in size, got nowhere to upload it, sorry. :o

Just brilliant Mucks :thumb: you were so lucky to see that lovely duck, he's very pretty. I expect the "local lad" is feeling a tad miffed at being upstaged by his glamorous American rival ;) what a shame you can't display the video :( I bet they look great in that.

Very enjoyable slideshow :nod: they are just right to watch during our tea-breaks - we loved the pics of the diving-ducks :D Thank you for sharing :thumb:
