Hi All,
I need some serious help. I'm facing "date & time" error when my users are trying to login on my WinXP machines on domain.
I have created dual boot systems where both OS (WINXP & WINXP). Both the OS are on seperate domains & seperate networks & both use seperate timezones.
Primary OS Win XP-1 OS is configured to use IST timezone Its PDC is also configured to use IST timezone
Secondary OS Win XP-2 OS is configured to use CST timezone Its PDC is also configured to use CST timezone
Here is the problem:
If i boot my machine in primary OS Win XP-1 than it will take IST timezone & IST time which is absolutly fine. If i restart my machine & boot it in secondary OS Win XP-2 than it gets CST timezone but IST time after this my users are not able to login on domain. They get "Date & time" mismatch error. After I login with local Admin ID & reset the time mannualy than only it allows users to login on domain.
After this if i reboot the machine in primary OS than there is no problem. it will take IST timezone & IST time. I have this problem only with Secondary OS.
I have reformated my machine & change OS sequency but the problem remain same.
What i can think of this problem is that my primary OS is setting time in system BIOS & the same time is picked up by secondary OS. I want to know if there is anyway by which we can disable BIOS time so that system will only take time from PDC.

Regards,
BW
