dual view and dos

I have a XP pro system setup with a Nvidia Geforce 6600 dual head video
card, I am running 2 17" LCD Monitors. The video card true Dual view so I can
display different content on each displays .
I have an Old Dos program that I want to run, but when I run the program
it runs on both displays. Can someone tell me if it is even possible to have
the dos program run on one display while xp runs on the other? I have gone
through every option For the video card and can't find anything that works.
I seem to recall a setting somewhere that said something like "allow dos to
run in it's own window" but i can't find that either.
Any ideas? Let me know if you need more info.

IIRC, there isn't a great deal you can do about this issue. What may
work is to run in a dos window as opposed to "full screen" mode. You
can toggle between full screen and window by pressing alt-enter.

DosBox maybe.

Thanx for the response but Alt+Enter just minimizes it to the task bar and
that's not really what we need it to do. It's a GPS Mapping program that
needsto be displayed at all times.
 
Unless you realy must run in a multiple config, why not set your display to
run in single mode whilst the dos app runs?
I seem to recollect the 'dos in own window' option may be part of
compatibilty mode settings.
 
Thanx Trax, DosBox does run the gpsmap prog in it's own window but in order
to work with windows I have to minimize DosBox which kinda of defeats the
purpose.
 
We really do need to have three different apps running and visible at all
times.
