dual network adaptors

2nd attempt at posting...

I've 2 XP machines connected to a cable modem via a small
router. Both machines have 1394 firewire cards.

When running the home network wizard it chooses the
ethernet LAN for the internet working fine on both, but
1394 for the network connection.

How do I force it to use the LAN for both?
