Dual Monitors

I'm setting up to use two monitors and so I have installed two adapters: one
in the AGP slot, the other in PCI-2. Windows can see both adapters and can
set them up for use with dual monitors, BUT: Windows has assigned the adapter
in the PCI slot as driving monitor #1, and the AGP adapter to monitor #2.
I want the AGP adapter to drive monitor #1 as it is more
faster/better/whatever, but in Display Properties/Settings the choice "Use
this device as primary monitor" is greyed out.
How do I tell Windows to make the AGP adapter the one for the primary monitor?

Check the computer's BIOS so as to see which display adapter has be assigned
to be the primary display. Look for some type of "Init Dsiplay" entry, which
may be set to PCI.

Also, several AGP video cards already come with two monitor ports.

Are both video cards made be the same company?

Yves (and any others), thank you for your help with this.
However, after some poking around I found there really was no problem,
except with the operator (me).
(Don't ask.)

Thank you,
Don
