Dual Monitors with 2 PCI Video Legacy Cards

Hi Trying to install dual monitor support using two PCI legacy video cards.
Running XP Pro SP2 on 2.2GHz AMD Athlon wiht 256 MB RAM. Cards work fine on
their own at max resolution etc but when both installed in MB secondary card
fails to start with Code 10 error. There are no seperate XP drivers as these
cards are supported by default XP according to card sites.Cards are S3 Trio
32/64 and ATI Rage II+. Is this a PCI configuration problem? Driver Problem
(is so how come they work standalone?). Reinstalling driver on failing card
identifies card correctly installs driver but cant start it.
Any help appreciated. Hate to go off an buy another video card when have
two perfectly good cards here. Computer is used for my hamstation so high
resolution is not important. Thanks in advance Paul
