Dual Monitor

What is the requirements to use dual monitor. I have Vista Ultimate.
Current Video Card is an AGP Nvidia 5200 with 128 megs, everything works
fine with this.

I tried to install an PCI ATI 9250 with 256 megs, and got the message that
the system was turning of an incompatable device, and disabled the AGP card.

I thought that both cards had to be Vista capable? What do I need both
cards using similar chipsets?

Any help would be appreciated.

so long as your video card has 2 video card slot in it your all set, though
you'll need an adapter for the digital slot. PCWorld has decent video on how
to do this, hceck it out.

Vista video drivers have new and restrictive properties. One of those
being that you can't generally mix video card brands. If both cards
are Nvidia or both are ATI, you should be fine. You can get around
this restriction if you are willing to run the old style XP video
drivers.
