Dual Monitor setup on xp

Is it possible to add another monitor on my windowsxp computer. If so what other hardware and software do I need for this

Sure, WinXP supports multiple monitors. You will not need additional
applications to achieve this functionality. You'll need another video card
(that's on the http://www.microsoft.com/hcl) and its device driver. It is
also recommended to use a dissimlar card from the one you're already using.
if you're using onboard video, you may have to disable that in the BIOS,
unless it supports higher than VGA.
