Dual Monitor Question

I have an HP Media Center PC with a GeForce FX5600 Ultra,128mb card. I'm
using the digital output to my 19 inch LCD monitor and was thinking of
buying another 19 for a dual monitor setup. Can I use the analog output of
the GeForce for the second monitor or do I need to buy a second video
card?...TIA

If the second LCD has an analog input you can use it (most on the market
do). But there is no SVGA-to-DVI adapter (that I've seen). You'll just need
to tell Windows which one is primary.

In short, yes.

The quality will not be quite as good on the analaog cable as a DVI cable,
but you can use 1 graphics card to comfortably power 2 screens.

You could consider turning both screens round 90 degrees so you get a better
combined resolution - instead of two 1280x1024 (2560x1024) you could have
two 1024x1280 = 2048x1280 - a much more useful screen size.
