Dual installation and boot

I upgraded W98se to W2KP and it didn't function properly,
so I did a new install of W2Kp on the same drive. That
works great and I still have access to all my files which
is greater. Now I have a dual boot of W2KP. Is there a
way to remove the upgrade version and keep just the good
W2KP? How?

To remove the unwanted start option, edit the hidden system file
C:\boot.ini.

To access boot.ini, open a command prompt and change directory to C:\, then
type "attrib -r -h -s boot.ini". The file should now be visible.

Remove the line that refers to your failed Win2000 installation. You will
also need to remove the systemroot, probably C:\Windows.

Best regards

Bjorn
