Hi

I know that it is technically possible to install two
copies of Windows XP on the same computer in a dual-boot
arrangement. My question is about licensing. Am I
permitted to install XP twice on the same machine? - only
one version could be used at any one time. I'm aiming for
a similar setup to people who partitiona their hard
drives and install, say Windows 98 and then XP, except I
want both of my OSes to be XP.

Am I safe to go ahead? Do I need to pruchase an
additional license?

Cheers

Mark

Just do it... Microsoft isn't going to come after you with an FBI agent at
their side for that. I think, technically, it's against the EULA, but why
the heck can't you do it? It's very obvious that you wouldn't be able to
use both copies at the same time and it's the same machine.
