dual boot: Windows Vista + Windows XP

Hello,

I have an all-in-one which used to work fine
under Windows XP but ever since I have
upgraded to Windows Vista even though
I have installed the drivers the device still
does not work very well. So now I want
to install Windows XP on the same
hard drive on my Sony VAIO laptop.
How can I proceed to do this?
I would also like to have one
or more linux distributions
on the same hard drive so
I want four operating systems
altogether on my laptop which
comes with a large 500GB
harddrive which should make
things easy to host all these
operating systems.

Any ideas on how to go about
installing these four OSs?
And will XP work on my new
laptop?

My all-in-one is a Lexmark X5470
and I would like to keep using the
scanner perhaps even under Linux.

Thanks,

John Goche
