I installed wxp in C partition and I used partition D for data and all work
fine.
then i installed w2k on third partition called E.
But i can't use the w2k system.
It's possible mount w2k after wxp?
it's better use the boot.ini file or use some boot manager?
thanks

Could you please tell what is the exact error you are getting while loading
windows 2000.
The process to install XP and 2000 in a multi boot environment is to install
windows 2000 first and than windows XP as later is the latest release of
operating system from Microsoft. You can modified the boot.ini file to create
entry for Windows 2000 and entry you need to do in the operating system
section of the boot.ini file is

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional" /fastdetect

believing you had installed on 3rd partition, otherwise replace it with the
partition number.

probably the problem is that I installed w2k after wxp. After I manipulate
boot.ini I can access to w2k but not to wxp, when I tried to access to
wxp(1st parttion) I receive ' can't find NTLDR' error.
the only way to recover the problem was restore the imagine of wxp, but now
I'm without w2k!!!
For work affair I have to use wxp as a primary OS, so now I decide to
install a secondary wxp on 3rd partition.

I think in this case ther is not problem with boot.ini. Do you think ?

What is your current aim? Install Win2000 on drive E:? Install
WinXP on drive E:?
