remove W2K from dual boot system?

hello,
i have a dual boot system set up with W2K on first partition of c drive
(labelled as c drive) and WXP on second partition(labelled as g drive). i am
ready to reclaim the space from my completely unused W2K partition. is it
possible and if so, what is the best method?
i have partition magic if that will help in solving my problem.
some of my concerns:
- will removing W2K have any adverse effects since it is installed on the c
drive?
- can i completely reclaim all of the c drive space for my WXP partition?
and will that leave me without a c drive, and cause confusion for any reason?

thanks in advance for your help,

Here is an easy method:
1. Boot into WinXP.
2. Rename c:\WinNT to c:\WinNT.2000.
3. Wait a week.
4. If all is well, delete c:\WinNT.2000

You may be able to apply the same method to c:\Program Files.
I suspect that it contains some applications installed under WinXP,
in which case you cannot delete it.
