DUA - How did that work?

Hi all

I have a very stupid question
How works the Device Update component?

I includet this component in my Target Designer Configuration and I created an image
Is DUA now active? Does it update my system every day, or should I do something to get it updated

there are a lot of downloads for XPESP1, but I get an error telling me that "WEUpdate cannot retriev
information neded for setup from database"

Any idea what should I do
