DST Update

R

Robert Bodling

I tried to update my Daylight Savings Time on my desktop and received
and error message...

KB931836 System Error

Update can not be installed as a newer or same time zone update has
already been installed on the system.

And my system clock will not reset to the new Daylight Saving Time and
remains behind an hour and I can not even manually adjust the time to
correct the time difference like I have done on my other clocks around
the house.

The file from microsoft.com "WindowsXP-KB931836-X86-ENU" worked just
fine on my laptop and I can not get it to work on the desktop, why?

I sent feedback to Microsoft hoping they might be able to assist, but
if not...

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
