DST and svchost.exe process running slow

I noticed svchost.exe is utilizing a lot of memory resources this morning.
It's using from 50 MB to 500MB or more. I wonder if this has anything to do
with the DST patch.

Did anyone else experience this issue?

The DST patch is just a one time Registry write at the time the patch is ran, no way for that to cause any symptoms like you are seeing.
