DSL (wired and wireless) NOT WORKING... modem connection working

I have exhausted all of my knowledge as well as annoyed both my computer
manufacturer and DSL provider... I have also followed the steps in article
326155 to try and resolve my problem. NOTHING HAS WORKED!!!

My computer recognizes a connection to both the wired and wireless modem but
I continue to receive an error message when trying to connect to Internet
explorer, AOL, and firefox. Both adapters in my computer are recognized and
working.

If you have another suggestion, please help!!! Thank you for your time.

What do you mean by "trying to connect to Internet explorer". Internet
explorer is a program on you disk. You do not connect to it; you run it.
Then, IE tries to connect to your ISP. Firefox has the same description.

I also wonder about "wired and wireless modem". Are there really two modems
in your setup?

Instead is there a modem which then connects to a router? If so, what is
the make and model?

It seems that your computer cannot connect to AOL.

Can you ping AOL?
How is your router setup?
