DSE 5400 - opening it up for inspection & cleaning.

Has anyone opened up their 5400?

Does dust collect in an area that would affect the optics?

I'm wondering the same thing, and will be cracking open the 5400 in the
next couple of weeks... when I look inside it seems impossible that
dust wouldn't get on the ccd or diffuser plate, so I think mine is due
for a cleaning...
