DSClient - User Account Length?

Does this also extend the length (20) of the account name
for non 2k/XP clients?
 
Which non-2000 / XP clients, Win9x, or NT? I've searched the Knowledge Base
on DSClient, and would encourage you to do so as well. Unfortunately
(perhaps), I do not have any such system here to test. Do you? Can you just
test this on one test system, to see? I would think that it would support
authentication of longer account names. But I suspect that your concern is
client support of the longer account name, and I have to wonder about that
as well, since Windows 9x has issues with computer names longer than eight
characters.
