drwtsn32.exe

Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 sometimes report the following:

04.09.2006 08:17:11
gefunden: potentiell gefährliche Software Invader Prozess:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drwtsn32.exe

try to translate: potential dangerous software Invader

This comes up when running Ashampoo UnInstaller in the background.

A single file check of this drwtsn32.exe with KIS declares "no dangerous
objects found". Ad-aware and Spybot nothing.

False alarm?

Probably. Unless a virus has attached itself to the executable.

This is "Dr. Watson" a normally installed diagonostic part of Windows.
WINDOWS\system32\drwtsn32.exe is indeed its normally installed location.

Thanks for the help so far. I think I'm going to start a new thread to
describe the situation as it stands right now.
