DRW in a grid

I find that there are many requests to be able to desplay data in a grid
layout and not just in rows. I would actually like to brake the data across a
set number of columns. There are several references to being able to display
the DRW results in a grid or accross columns but there is no example. And
every page that links to external resources no longer work. Could someone
actually post the code here so that all of us can have the answer.

Not sure what you mean by a grid - can you post a URL that looks like it has
what you're looking for?

What I am actually seeking is a way to have the results fall accross more
than one column.

For example:

This is how the DRW would typically display data

Alice
Bob
Charlie
David
Ed
Frank
Gina
Harry

I would like to define that the data shoul break into two columns or more so
the data displays like:

Alice Ed
Bob Frank
Charlie Gina
David Harry

or

Alice David Gina
Bob Ed Harry
Charlie Frank

etc.

Thank you sooo much. This is really awesome and I appreciate your help!!!!

If you have nothing better to do [ ], how about playing with it to see if
the data can flow down instead of accross.

I am fine with what you have shown me and will use it greatfully, however,
it would be nice if the data was alpha/numeric down and accross instead of
accross and down.

Example:

This is how the data currently displays.

| 1 | 2 | 3 |
| 4 | 5 | 6 |
| 7 | 8 | 9 |

It would be nice if it displayed like this.

| 1 | 4 | 7 |
| 2 | 5 | 8 |
| 3 | 6 | 9 |

Since I know I am a begger, I am not going to be choosy. You really helped
me a lot.
