Dropped wifi connections on SP2

I seem to be getting dropped wifi connections on XP SP2.
It's on my new laptop, only 2 weeks old. Just installed
SP2. If I leave AOL Instant Messenger running overnight,
sometimes in the morning a message will be waiting for me
letting me know that my connection has been lost. When
attempting to reconnect, or access any form of the
internet, I am unsuccessful until I swtich off my
wireless, and then switch it back on.

Maybe Power Mangement is turning the card off.

Go to Device Manager, find your internet card, right-click and select
Properties. Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck "Allow the
computer to turn off..."

I tried that. And it did not fix the problem. The only way
I can tell my wireless isn't working is if AIM
disconnects, and can't automatically reconnect, or if I'm
trying to access a website and it "is not able to find the
page"

I have the windows firewall disabled. And because I've
heard horror stories about zonealarm 5.x, I've installed
Kerio Personal Firewall on my laptop. But Windows Firewall
has been disabled ever since I booted up SP2.
