Drop Downs gone

I am running WinXP SP2 with Internet Explorer 7 (didnt see a forum here for 7
so am using 6). I recently changed a user from "administrator" to "limited"
and then later back to "administrator". The user has lost the "drop downs"
in the search box. Other user accounts work fine. I have "reset" IE7 under
tools/options/advanced and uninstalled/reinstalled the Flash Player for the
user. I was thinking that the ActiveX controls for that user are corrupted.
Any other ideas on how to fix this?

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
