Drop Down Word List

Is there a way to remove the words from the drop down list when doing a
google or MSN search? Not sure if I am making this clear but whenever a word
is typed for a search that word or words is added to a drop down list. Can
this list be removed or can the system be set to not save these words? Help
 
You should be able to highlight the one's you don't want your wife to see
and hit delete to remove them from the list.

The feature is auto-complete and can be turned off but the solution for
doing this escapes me at the moment.
