drop down lists

Does any one know how to put a list into a combo box drop down list s
you can choose a name or item? In Excel 2000 I can't seems to get
list in the drop down.

I can do it in Excel 1998 but can't seem to get it done with 2000.

Hi Lisa

which combo box drop down type are you using? is it on a worksheet or on a
userform?

if its on a worksheet i generally use the Data / Validation - list option
for these sort of things ..
