1. Does ne1 know where the driver files are kept on a xp based pc?

2. Does XP have a tool to view all installed drivers and their versions?

Note: Device manager is enough to un-install drivers. But is't very helpful
in regards to ascertaining the loc of driver files. It doesn't even display
half of the drivers i KNOW to be on my system.

That depends. Most drivers can be found via Start > Run: drivers
However, some drivers may be located in program folders as well.

Look in msinfo.
