DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error

When I use my modem to dial to my ISP windows crashes with this error

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Windows only crashes wehn I use the modem.
Any idea what is the problem and how to fix it?

Thanks. I updaed all drivers but with the same problem. I even installed a
new modem and tried and still with the same problem.
