Since my dvd drive does not recognize my disc I was told
to uninstall the driver and then to reinstall. How do I
go about doing that
 
R.click my computer,properties,hardware,device mgr.Expand the cd drive,then select
uninstall,restart computer.XP will reload the drivers on restart.
 
If your trying to play a DVD movie, you need to install a DVD player program which includes a decoder (such as WinDVD or Power DVD),
XP does not ship with one.
