I have a frustrating driver issue in my XP Home SP2 PC. I can boot into safe
mode just fine. When I boot normally, i get to my logon screen, but the
moment I log onto my account, I get a BSOD with an IRQL error. I checked the
dump file that it created, but it isn't overly helpful. When I run windbg,
it says that the MODULE_NAME is ntoskrnl.exe and the IMAGE_NAME is
services.exe. That really doesn't help me out too much. I went back to safe
mode and then went to msconfig and chose diagnostic mode and rebooted, but no
change. I also looked at the ntbtlog.txt, and all it shows is a list of
loaded drivers followed by a lenghty list of drivers it did not load. How
can I determine which driver is causing my BSOD? Thanks for any insight.
