Driver for Vista issue

Hi Folks.
I am trying to install Vista on a toshiba portege m400 laptop. The Beta2
version is currently installed. I have updated every available driver and
the BIOS from the Toshiba website. when I attempt to install, I am told that
I need to install the driver for the "Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA
Controller" If I boot from the CD to install, the program cannot find any
hard drive at all. I checked the hard drives properties and it says the
driver is "standard" and written by Microsoft. I attempted to update the
driver (still using the beta) and was told the driver is the most up to date
available. Toshiba claims this model is Vista ready and in fact the MS rep
is the one who sent us this laptop with the beta on it a while back. Anyone
know where I can get a driver for this? We are currently still issuing XP
laptops, but we need to get at least a couple of our laptops up and running
with Vista for our upcoming roll-out.

You must boot to Windows to start the install to avoid this. Don't boot to
the vista dvd.

The 1st step is to remove the Vista Beta and install the Vista with the correct license
