Driver Files Missing or Corrupt

Greetings,

5 of my 25 computer users suddenly developed printing problems. When they
printed to the IP enabled Laserjet 5, the jobs never spooled and nothing
happened for them. All other users print to the networked laserjet 5 printer
OK. Problem users could ping the IP and print to the laserjet 5 using a
different driver. For example, the laserjet 4 and the 4500 drivers print
right out, but the laserjet 5 driver would display "test page failed to
print. Files missing or incorrect". I found a different version of the
laserjet 5 driver online and once installed, it worked OK.

Now to the current problem. The Dymo labelwriter is doing the same thing.
"files missing or incorrect." It atleast prints something with some
incorrect drivers, but not with the correct Dymo 330 driver.

I've uninstalled the dymo software, cleaned up the registry of all things
Dymo, removed the driver in the printer server properties, used the dymo
driver removal tool, installed every different way with every different
version available that I can find, but it always says driver files missing or
incorrect.

Has anyone seen this crazyness before or have any ideas?
When the driver is removed in teh printser server properties, are the files
really removed or do I have to do that manually somewhere?

Thanks in advance for your help.

How to fix the error:

1) Go to "C:\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\i386" folder, locate the "SP2.cab"
2) double-click on the SP2.cab file and copy the UNIDRV.DLL and UNIDRVUI.DLL
to a new folder on your desktop
3) You will need to replace the UNIDRV.DLL and UNIDRVUI.DLL in
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3" with the ones you got from the
SP2.cab

how to replace the files:

a) Install the utility (MoveOnBoot), then use the utility to delete the
UNIDRV.DLL and UNIDRVUI.DLL files from the
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3" folder.
b) Restart your computer after you have deleted those two files using the
MoveOnBoot utility.
c) copy the clean UNIDRV.DLL and UNIDRVUI.DLL that you copied before from
the Sp2.CAB back into the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3" folder
d) restart your computer again

Just do a google search to find the MoveOnBoot installation File.
