Fluffy the Wonder Kitten

I have Win XP Home with SP1 and all current updates, can
anyone tell me approximately how much HD space that would
use. Thank you, Fluffy...

Hi,

A lot depends on your system configuration, but probably 1.5GB at a minimum.

It's not just the actual storage space occupied by the files, but also
the "elbow room" needed by Windows to create temporary files and fill up the
Internet cache as it works. 1.5 GB would be a practical minimum, and I
recommend people keep two to four GB of free space on their hard disks for
Windows to be able to spread its wings and fly.
