THE DOOFUS THAT SET UP OUR COMPUTER SYSTEM CALLED OUR HARD
DRIVE "J" INSTEAD OF "C". THEREFORE, SOME SOFTWARE WON'T
LOAD BECAUSE THEY WANT "C" DRIVE AND WILL NOT LET ME
SPECIFY TO USE "J".

IS THERE AN EASIER WAY OF TAKING CARE OF THIS OTHER THAN
SHUTTING DOWN THE ENTIRE DRIVE AND RELOADING ALL FROM
SCRATCH? CAN YOU HAVE A DRIVE "J" AKA "C"?

THANKS!

Susan,

No I am afraid you are stuck with the J drive. Whatever the drive letter
is when Windows 2000/XP is installed is what it must stay. If it is
changed it causes all kinds of problems. The only thing you can do is a
rebuild.
