What, mapping to \\servername\root_drive$ (\\myserver\c$)
doesn't work for you? Should be the same as mapping to a
regular share except just make sure to include the dollar
sign as root drives are admin shares only. Also, make sure
you're admin on the machine you wish to map the root drive
or this won't work.
