How can I map a drive to my own computer with no network. I have a program
that looks to p:\

I need to map C:\data as a P drive.

Please advise..

There are several ways to do what you want to do...

The easy way is to enable file and print sharing in LAN
settings. Then right click on the folder marked data and
share it out (call the share data). Now go back to your
desktop and right click on "My network Places" and look
for map Drive... Pick P: as your drive letter then click
on Browse and look for your computer and then folder.

Click on reconnect at logon and then finish.

This should get through your problem.

Wont that cause all the programs that look to C: to not
find their drive ?
Or does that just reroute all looking for P: to C: ?
Thanks in advance.
