Drive Letters

I'd like to know how I can reassign the drive letters in
Windows XP Home. My backup hard drive defaults to F:, and
I want to change it to D:. TIA

Right click my computer, manage, disk management, right click drive, choose:
change drive letter and paths.

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the
Administrators group in order to complete this.
open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer
Management > storage > Disk management>Right-click a partition, logical
drive, or volume, and then click Change Drive Letter and Paths.
To modify a drive letter, click it, click Change, click the drive letter
you want to use, and then click OK.
