A couple days ago I came across an option to show drive letters in My
Computer before the drive name rather than after. Such as:(C:) Local Disk
instead of Local Disk (C:) For the life of me I cannot find the way to make
the changes. Any help will be greatly appreciated! TIA

Do you have the Tweak UI powertoy installed? If so, run Tweak UI
(Start->All Programs->Powertoys for Windows XP->Tweak UI. With that
running, expand My Computer in the left try and select Drive Letters. There
you can specify whether drive letters show before or after the label.

If you don't have Tweak UI installed, you can download it from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx.

Thanks Tom
I've had Tweak UI installed for quite awhile, and it's always worked fine -
but in this case it doesn't. The change requires logging off and back on
again, but no joy, on both computers I've tried this on. Rebooting doesn't
help either. Any Suggestions?

The list is screwed up since years, select 'Never show drive letters'
to get the wished view.
