on xp/ntfs, by mistake, on hard drive first partition is d:, instead of c:
[c: is not existing]. xp is installed on that d:\
disk management tool allows "drive letter change". is it safe just to change
d: -> c: and expect os to be still bootable?
if xp kernel may survive, it will be easy job to adjust the rest 3rd party
software the install path.
the main question is: if drive letter changed, may xp/ntfs still recognize
files and partition as system?
i hope, that ntfs with its linked list files structure could give a try,
just need some advice, not to be completely wrong?
thnx
