drive is showing that I don't have

Somehow a drive showed up E: when I was installing software for
printer. I don't have a drive E: and it is causing problems when
anti-virus tries to scan it. How can I make it go away???????

Have you tried rebooting since the e: drive appeared. Check your device
manager to see if some device is showing up as a disk drive, dvd/cd-rom
drive which should not be there or has an explantion mark next to it. If so
try uninstalling the driver.
You might even try a system restore and try to reinstall your printer.
