Drive Image - Image Size

I am considering purchasing an external USB HDD.
The external usb drives are formatted as FAT 32.

Does Drive Image 7 automatically reduce the image(s) to 4GB or less to
satisfy the requirements of the FAT 32
maximum file size of 4GB.

I have DriveImage 7 that was purchased as a package with DriveImage 2002
that I use on my desktop that has Win98SE. I want to use the external USB
drive on both my laptop with XP PRO and the desktop.

Thank You,

BL

That is true with DriveImage 4 that I used to use but I don't think the file
extension on DriveImage 7 is Imaage.PQI

Drive Image will break up Image sets into ~2.0 Gigabyte size
modules =
Image.PQI 2.0 Gig
Image.001 2.0 Gig .....
Different Image programs/versions have varying support for USB
peripherals as the destination device.

Can't speak to Drive Image7/Ghost9 - I stopped at Drive Image
2002. I still use a Bootable CD-R to do my images outside of
Windows Many posters use the newer V2i/Hot Imaging software
and can probably comment on them.
