Drive Icons

Hi , I wonder if any one could tell me how I could assign Drive icons to my
drive , I already have my drive icons ready in My Documents folder , I just
would like to assign them to my flash drives E.g XD card and Smart media.

Would be great if someone could tell me how to do this ,

P.S im rather smart at windows , so following advanced instructions would
be kool

The way I put my thumb drive icon on the Desktop is to open My Computer,
right click on the drive, create a shortcut and it will tell you the only
place it can put it is on the Desktop, click yes and it's done.

No i mean in control pannel , instead of it jus showing a basic icon , i
would like it to show a flash card and smart media card (the icons ive got
already).

like windows shows a digital camera and a scanner when they are plugged in.
