Dreme Scene 3 Content Crashing Explorer?

I

Hello,

I am a vista ultimate owner, and have downloaded the dremescene features as
well as the older content.

Recently with the patch to SP1, I downloaded via the windows update when it
became available. Tonight I downloaded the Dremescene 3 content as it became
available.

However when I go in to see what the content contains, my Windows Explorer
crashes every time.... Regardless if through windows explorer or through the
control panel window....

Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon? Or does anyone have any
suggestions on how I can resolve it? I.E. is it a Video Codec that didn't
get installed correctly and therefore I just need to download and install it
so that Vista and Windows Media Player can decode and show the previews?

Thanks in advance!!!!

I don't know what the problem is but Dreamscene isn't worth it. I tried it
and didn't like it. It's nice for a few minutes but you always have windows
open in front of it so your not looking at it anyway. I've also found that
Dreamscene is a memory hog. When running Dreamscene and multitasking I
noticed that Dreamscene would get get choppy and pause from time to time.
And then sometimes when you restart or bootup your computer you get a black
screen because Windows thinks there was some kind of error. Try if you want
but I feel it's useless, especially since it uses all those resources.

Thanks and I know this... However with a Quad Core Processor and 3GB of ram I
have it installed purely incase I ever wanted to use it...

I'm just curious as to if there is a problem with one of the files coming
down with this content pack or if I am missing the codec.... Anyone else have
this same anomoly? Or know of a quick solution...?

I have posted the crash report to microsoft but doubt a fix would come in
this soon... And sometimes peer groups give the best results... Thanks for
anything you can offer to help with my previous inquiry!

What was the specific fault bucket for this crash--
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket
according to the Problem Reports and Solutions Center control panel?

I'm suspicious that this is the MPEG2Parser.ax issue I was looking at last
week, but the fault data from the above tool would be really valuable to
determine that more conclusively and potentially help me to help others
here.

I like DreamScene working for people. =)
