dreamscene problems baffling me

I had dreamscene working fine on my pc, on all accounts (admin and my usual
standard account) then I downloaded winamp so i could lisen to my ogg files.
Since then dreamscene has given the error *this file is not supported or
there was a problem decoding it* on my standard account, yet it still works
fine on my admin account!

I am really confused, if anyone has ANY idea what might have caused this I
would be very grateful.

Oh and just some more info, yes I have the stardock addon that allows .dream
files, and in admin both this and the included dreamscene video work, but in
my standard account none of them work.

from what I have been reading some programs need to be run as administrator
I have no problems since I only have on account on vista

Well I finally (ater much headscratching) realised I had also deleted a codec
pack when i was in admin, just re-downloaded it and it works, still not sure
why, but it works...... just wish I had a better understanding but hey ho.
