Hi,

I enabled DreamScene and the CPU Usage for Explorer.exe increased to nearly
the maximum. My graphics cards are ATI Radeon 9700 and ATI Radeon X1300.

Anyone with same problem?

Hello,

Windows DreamScene is "Beta" which means unfinished code. If you are playing
a large WMV file, yes, it will be slow. However, if you use a DeskScape or a
small MPEG file, it will work fine.

Hmm... I noticed that playing Video in Vista is very slow... except when I
use older application like VLC with older type of output like DirectX 2D
(instead of DirectX 3D), which caused Vista to disable Aero. Then the
playback is fast with less CPU usage.
