Drawing a Simple Semicircle

This might be a deceptively simple question. I'm trying to draw a solid semi
circle in Powerpoint 2000, but It's not in the list of basic shapes. I can
draw a circle, but that's not what I want. I can draw an Arc, but then I
need to fill it (which I cant, even If I try using a connector to join the
two ends of the arc. I can even use the sort-of-semicircle shape in the list
of flow chart shapes (but this is not quite a semicicle)

How does one draw a filled semicircle?

What about the chord or pie slice under more autoshapes?

Using the pie slice in "more autoshapes" in the drawing menu - It looks like
a 3/4 circle but you can reshape with the yellow handles to give any part of
a circle including half. The chord shape is already a semi circle and you can
rotate it with the green handle. (The chord yellow handles dont do what you
might expect ).

Click Shift and draw the block arc and then drag the adjustment (yellow
diamond) along a straight line to the centre to get the semi-circle.

Autoshapes > Basic Shapes > Arc. Draw an arc. Adjust it's shape using the
yellow diamonds
Fill the shape with your desired color
