Click View > Toolbars > Drawing. Use the tools on that toolbar to draw
whatever you want.
If you draw a closed figure such as a rectangle, you'll need to click the
Fill button on the toolbar and choose No Fill to let the enclosed item show
through.
Also look at the "callout" tool, which lets you enter text in a box with a
connector to point to what's being described.
