Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8/SDK on Vista

NaturallySpeaking 8 runs fine in Vista #5384, but there is a problem
with the NS SDK. It is possible to create a VB reference to the NS SDK
DLL, DNSTK10.dll, and to add the speech engine and other controls to the
toolbar. Placing the Dragon Engine Control on a VB form results in an
immediate "Dragon Engine Error" message. Other Dragon controls can the
placed on a form without problems and the properties of all the Dragon
controls are properly displayed under VB.
Executing a Dragon Engine Control function results in the error message
"system.windows.form.AxHost+InvalidActiveXState Exception was thrown".
Has anyone had any experience with running the NaturallySpeaking SDK
controls on Vista ? The same program code works properly with Windows
2003 Server and Windows XP.
Thank you.

What does the vendor say?

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the comment.
There hasn't be a reply from Nuance (formerly ScanSoft) as yet. Informal
information from the forums indicates it may be a long time before there is
official support for NaturallySpeaking on Vista.
