Dragging to copy increments by one

Hank

I frequently drag a cell to copy it to the cells below. If there is a
number in the cell, it is automatically incremented by one in the new
cells. How do I stop this "incrementing" behavior"?

Thanks!

Instead of dragging from the corner, mark the cells including the filled one
and use Ctrl-D

I like to rightclick on the fill handle and drag.

When I let go, I'll see a bunch of options--including Copy cells.

And it's nice to see what else can be used--sometime, I may need one of those
other options.

I didn't mean smarttags.

I meant the little popup that you get when you rightclick and drag on the fill
handle.

The one that has:
Copy Cells
Fill Series
Fill Formatting only
Fill without formatting
fill days
fill weekdays
....
Series

I think you're gonna be like Diogenes--searching for that honest man who will
admit that he likes smarttags.
